 Alexay A. Tamas, DMD

Dr. Alexay Tamas grew up in a small town in Illinois. In 2008, she graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Like many recent graduates, she was unsure where to go from there. She began dental assisting for a practice in Champaign, IL and quickly determined dentistry was what she needed to pursue.
Wanting to explore the West, Dr. Tamas moved to Utah to attend Utah Valley University. In 2010, she was awarded a degree in Biology, and finally ready to apply to dental school. She chose to attend Roseman University of Health Sciences in South Jordan, UT. Excelling in an academic setting, she received 90% or higher in all dental school courses. "Most importantly to me, I was fortunate to receive an education that models itself around lifelong colleagues, evidence-based dentistry, and patient-centered care. I believe in these principles, along with honest, conservative dentistry. When I heard about the minimally invasive mindset at Gentle Healthy Smiles, I knew this was a practice I could align myself with. I have been continually impressed by the type of dentistry practiced here."

Cedric W. Papa, DDS

Dr. Cedric Papa received his bachelor's degree in Exercise Biology at U.C Davis in Davis, California.  He then graduated from the prestigious University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, in San Francisco, California in 2012.

Dr. Papa and his wife, Stacy, have four amazing children.  Spending time with his family is his self-professed main 'hobby' and how he chooses to spend every spare minute when not at the office. Dr. Papa and his children spend countless hours playing legos, wrestling, dancing, and telling jokes.  He also enjoys spending the four seasons outdoors, enjoying the diversity that the Midwest seasons have to offer.  Dr. Papa also has a passion for helping others- including going on mission trips, to South America, with Spreading Smiles--the humanitarian organization he started while an under-grad at U.C. Davis., that continues to function today.
